Convicted Felon Arrested Attempting To Sell Stolen Firearms

After an investigation and undercover operation involving the trafficking of stolen firearms by a convicted felon, Denham Springs Police Department and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives agents arrested Marcus J. Luter, 29, of 13927 Heritage Oaks Drive, Baton Rouge, on Sunday Afternoon.

Two military-style semi-automatic weapons, an HK 91 5.56mm rifle and an UZI 9mm rifle, as well as a quantity of suspected methamphetamine were seized during the operation.

Luter was booked on the following charges:  2 counts of Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms, 2 counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Illegal Possession of a Schedule 2 CDS, and Illegal Carrying of Weapons with Narcotics.
